beach date

beach date

We walked along the water, and I could feel the closeness growing between us. She laughed as the waves licked our feet, and I couldn’t help but smile back.
Suddenly I stopped and asked if she wanted to try surfing. A spark of excitement appeared in her eyes. We rented boards, and I tried to show her how to catch waves. At first she had a hard time, but each time she became more confident.
After a few tries, when she finally got on the board, I felt proud. We laughed and clapped at each other, and the sea embraced us with its waves.
As the day drew to a close, we sat on the sand, content and happy. I realized that this date was another step towards something important. I saw in her eyes the same feeling I had felt myself—it was truly magical.

It was our second or third date, because I can’t remember. And now she is my wife
