At the gas station, I gave a dollar to a young man who didn't have enough money to pay. A few months later, I was interviewing for the job I dreamed of when I got to know the same person — now it was the interviewer. As it turned out, this person remembered my kindness and made sure that my application was seriously considered. I got the job and often joked about the "Lucky Dollar".
