It was an ordinary autumn evening when I decided to linger in a cafe after work. The warm light of the lamps and the smell of fresh coffee created a coziness. At the next table sat a girl with a book. Her laughter, which sounded after the phone rang, was so contagious that I involuntarily smiled. Suddenly, a waiter approached her table and brought a cup of coffee, which, as it turned out, she had not ordered. She looked at me in surprise. This was my gesture. From that moment on, our conversation began, which lasted until the cafe closed. This coincidence was the beginning of a story that taught me: sometimes it is worth taking a risk, even if you just order someone a coffee.
