I was getting my daughter married in the summer.
Ten years ago, I pulled a 14-year-old boy out of a van that was engulfed in flames after a serious accident.
The doctors' verdict was unequivocal: he would never walk again. My daughter visited him several times in the hospital with me. Then she started going there without me.
And today I saw him, contrary to all predictions, smiling broadly, put the ring on my daughter's finger - standing firmly on both legs.
