I have a cat, Max, and he is a real master of tricks. It seems that he has a talent for getting into all possible and impossible situations.
Once I left a cake in the kitchen to cool. The whole house was filled with the aroma of baking, and I went about my business, confident that the cake was safe. But it was not so! Half an hour later I return and see Max sitting on the table, licking himself with a proud look, and the marks of his teeth are clearly visible on the edge of the cake.
It would seem, how did he manage it? He knows that he is forbidden to climb on the table! But Max was impenetrable: he looked at me with his big green eyes, as if to say: "Well, I only tried a little, you won't be offended, right?"
Since then, every time I cook something, Max sits nearby, carefully watching the process, as if waiting for his chance. But honestly, I can't stay mad at him for long. This cat is a real charmer, and his antics only add fun to my home.
