My First Cruise Ship Trip

Traveling on a cruise ship has always been a dream of mine.
When I finally stepped onto the deck of a huge liner, everything around me seemed unreal. The ship resembled a real floating city  with swimming pools, restaurants, shops, even a theater and a cinema. My cabin was a small room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. From the first minute, I knew that this would be something unforgettable. The first day passed in delight at everything new. We set off from Barcelona, ​​and I stood on the deck, watching the city disappear over the horizon. The waves gently rocked the ship, and the wind brought with it the salty smell of the sea. It was like a scene from a movie where the characters begin their journey into the unknown. Every day, new ports and new countries awaited us. I walked along the narrow streets of Marseille, tasted pasta in Naples, admired the Greek islands. Every new day was full of discoveries, and it seemed that I was living a different life – the life I had always dreamed of. But the most magical thing for me was the ocean itself. In the evenings, I would sit on the balcony of my cabin with a cup of hot tea, listen to the sound of the waves and look at the starry sky. At those moments, time seemed to stand still. I thought about how wonderful it was to be a part of this world, to feel its vastness and my tinyness at the same time. One night became special. We passed a small island, and the captain announced that here at this time of year you can see plankton that glows in the dark. I ran out onto the deck and saw how the water literally glows under the moon. It was so beautiful that I could not hold back my tears. This trip taught me to appreciate the moment and believe that dreams come true. The ocean, the stars and the feeling of freedom that I found on the waves will forever remain in my heart.
