My neighbor is an elderly man who always tended his garden. He often told me about his son who lived abroad. The neighbor always waited for his son to come on vacation or at least to call him. But as the years went by, his son never came. One day I asked him, Do you resent him? And he replied, No, I just miss him. Now I try to visit him more often so he doesn't feel so lonely. But it's so sad, when we were kids we were so excited to run to our parents... and now... I also try to keep a good relationship with my kids... I don't want to be so lonely in my old age.
