And you know what? The sight of me coming back in my boat really made her laugh. Eventually we both laughed at the absurdity of the situation, and soon we were hugging and apologizing for our little fight. Sometimes a little time apart is enough to see things from a new perspective. And now I have a great story about the day I ran away in my boat over an argument about trash.
