So, my buddy Mike’s girlfriend decided to throw him a surprise birthday party. She told me to get him to the bar at exactly 7 PM.
Easy, right? Well… not really.
I picked him up and, trying to make small talk, casually said, “So, ready for your surprise?”
Mike froze. “What surprise?”
I panicked. “Uh… nothing! I mean, the surprise beer I got you!”
When we got to the bar, everyone yelled, “Surprise!” But Mike just laughed and said, “I already knew, thanks to this guy.”
Needless to say, I’m never trusted with secrets anymore.
