How I proposed

This day was special. My friends were getting married and I was so happy for them. I went there thinking it was going to be a fun night, but I had a secret goal.
I've been wanting to propose to my girlfriend for a long time. I knew it was a big step, and I wanted it to be memorable. I decided that our friends ' wedding was the perfect place for this. The atmosphere was romantic and I felt it was the right moment.
When the music started, I gathered my thoughts and asked her to dance. We danced, and I felt my heart beat faster. I told her how much I loved her and how happy I was to have her in my life. She smiled, and I felt it was time to act.
I took the ring out of my pocket and put it on my knee. Everyone around them fell silent and started looking. I asked her if she would marry me. I was very nervous, but her eyes shone with joy. She said yes, and at that moment the whole world seemed to stop.
Everyone started applauding, and I felt so happy. We hugged, and I knew it was one of the best moments of my life. I was so happy that I was able to propose to her for such a beautiful holiday.
