On our first anniversary, I decided to surprise her and cooked dinner.
But while I was running in the kitchen, I burned my hand and almost burned the oven. My wife came to the rescue, we stewed meat together, laughed and finished the half-cooked dinner by candlelight.
Now every year on this day we order delivery from a restaurant, have a great time together, remember that evening and thank each other for the fact that we can always laugh at our failures.
