Holiday traditions

During the holidays, I always try to follow one of my favorite traditions: making pickled herring. I’m not a professional in the kitchen, but I’m interested in trying my hand at it. Every time I make it, I look forward to seeing if it turns out the way I planned. And usually, to my delight, it turns out delicious! I recently decided to watch a few new movies, hoping to find something special. Unfortunately, nothing worth recommending turned up. I’m familiar with the feeling that producers are simply trying to copy the successes of past years, rather than creating something unique. Do you feel the same way?
This activity gives me a certain satisfaction. But I would like to know if you have any special recipes that you like to cook during the holidays? I’m interested in learning about your culinary traditions and maybe trying something new!
